Kayla and Matt were married at Dell-Lea in Chichester, New Hampshire, on a beautiful fall day. The couple loved the rustic style that the historic property offered. From the moment they toured the property, they knew it was the idyllic backdrop for their wedding.
The thoughtful touches our couples include in their wedding days always inspire us – Kayla and Matt’s day was filled with thoughtful touches that centered on their loved ones. The celebration included Kayla’s father marrying the couple, a memorial for loved ones, and a special front-row seat for Matt’s late father. The couple made sure that everyone dear to them was included in a special way, even if some could only attend in spirit.
Kayla and Matt initially met through mutual friends in 2014. Despite sparks between them, the timing just wasn’t right and they lost touch for a couple of years. Still friends on Facebook, Matt reached out and messaged Kayla in 2016, after she liked a funny post that he had made about how it’s a terrible idea to attempt grocery shopping hungry. They met up soon after and felt like they had been best friends for years.
“We met up a few days later and it felt like we had been best friends for years when it was our first time actually hanging out in person. From there we both knew it was meant to be. We were inseparable since that day, and now here we are 6 years later happily married. “
Kayla and Matt’s love for their family and friends shone through the entire day. Favorite moments of the day involved seeing their family and friends enjoying themselves.
“My favorite moment from our wedding day was having all of our family and friends there to celebrate us, seeing how happy everyone was and how much fun everyone was having dancing. If we could do it all over again, we would in a heartbeat.”

Special Touches – Kayla and Matt wanted to include their passed loved ones. “We knew that we wanted to do something a little extra special, so not only did we have a memorial area in the foyer of our venue with all of our family members, but we had a reserved seat in the front at our ceremony with his dads ashes.”

They chose Jacques Fine European Pastries in Pembroke, NH for a three tier Birch cake

Kayla wore a dress by Essense of Australia – style #D2771 that she purchased from Marry & Tux Bridal in Nashua, NH.

Before the ceremony, Kayla and her father shared a special first look.

A front row seat – “We reserved a seat in the front at our ceremony with Matt’s dads ashes. Even though we knew he’d be there in spirit, we also wanted him physically there with us. It made it a little easier for my husband to make it through his own special day.”

Cobblestone Design Company, Concord, NH, created Kayla’s florals of white roses and baby’s breath
Hair and makeup by Le Glam Team, Dover, NH

Kayla and Matt chose Better Together by Luke Combs as their first dance song. We picked it as soon as it came out on the radio because the lyrics describe our relationship in a nutshell.
